This session extends Part I French Conversation by encouraging discussion using a variety of French contexts (culture, gastronomy, history, music, regional geography, lifestyles, etc.) Several interesting visual examples will be presented.

Jacques Press is an experienced instructor with an international background who spent many years at 91直播. Fluent in French and English, he has conducted several conversation classes to local adults, under the direction of 91直播鈥檚 Office on Continuing Studies. Currently, he facilitates regular French online weekly meetings to a wider community of interest.

In this session, we will cover the history of the "complaints" listed in the Declaration of Independence and how these informed the development of the Articles of Confederation and, ultimately, the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights.
 
Dr. Jess Bonnan-White is a Professor of Criminal Justice at 91直播 and an affiliated faculty member of the MA in Holocaust and Genocide Studies program. She studies homeland security and policing and is currently engaged in a long-term research project on policing in Northern Ireland. She has a BA in Archaeology (Washington University - St. Louis), an MA in Anthropology (Northern Illinois University), and a PhD in Anthropology (University of Iowa). Dr. Bonnan-White is a resident of Hammonton and is active in humanitarian work as a volunteer with the New Jersey Region of the American Red Cross.
